Sensation is looking for both an artist booker and manager partnerships. based in the United States. The job descriptions can be found below.
Artist Booker USA
D&T is a Dutch company that organizes (dance) events around the world. As Dutch market leader, ID&T also consists of international brands like Mysteryland and Sensation, with the latter being currently active in 20 different countries. The company enjoys a business culture that is high spirited and dynamic.
We are currently looking for a fulltime Artist Booker based in the U.S.
Responsibilities include
- Supporting and monitoring our musical strategy;
- Programming line-ups for events and festivals;
- Closing deals with artists/agencies and all handling;
- Coordinating travel requirements and logistics;
- Contract/invoice handling;
- Coordinating artist production at the events.
You should
- be a U.S. citizen (U.S. passport) living in the U.S., or have lived there recently for an extended period of time;
- have at least 5 years experience in a similar position within the U.S. dance music industry;
- be able to handle a variety of tasks at once, whilst able to cope with challenging situations;
- have a business degree level of working and thinking;
- enjoy traveling for business and working with other cultures;
- have excellent negotiation and communication skills (native English with Dutch and other languages are a plus);
- have a broad knowledge and interest in electronic music and an extensive network in the U.S. dance market;
- enjoy the challenge of launching an existing brand in a new market.
Social awareness is a plus.

a fulltime Manager Partnerships USA.
Activities
Management:
- Setting strategic goals and monitoring them;
Commercial:
- Overall responsibility for entering the U.S. market in the area of interest, potential relationships/partners;
- Overall responsibility for the development and monitoring/managing our relationships/partners and guiding commercial projects for these (national/international) A-brands;
Creative:
- Coordinating role: bringing the marketing objectives or our (potential and existing) relationships/partners together and providing the best possible match with our brands/events (translation to online events & activation);
Project management:
- Guiding (existing and potential) relationships/partners, throughout the year on and around our events.
Job requirements
You are a U.S.-citizen / have a U.S. passport. You already live in the U.S. or you’re okay with moving for this job. You have 3-5 years experience in a similar position (media/event industry is a plus) and with commercial sharpness you know how to create opportunities. You think it is a challenge to enter the U.S. market from our new office. You have a business degree work- and thinking level and you are constantly developing new plans for new/existing partners. You’re a negotiator and know how you could be deeply involved with the wishes of your relationships. You analyze the market and point out new trends. You’ve got what it takes to motivate a team and you have excellent communication skills (native English, Dutch and other languages are a plus). Knowledge of the U.S. market, a network in the U.S. and community involvement is a plus.
