Diana & Mike
My fiancé Mike and I met at Sensation White in Toronto on June 1st, 2013. It was both our first time at an event like this one. I didn't know what to expect but I never thought my life would change that night. You could say it was love at first sight but when we locked eyes, among the sea of 30,000 people, there was no denying that there was a deep connection between us. We have been inseparable ever since! Sensation paved the way for many more events like it that we attended together. We loved sharing the story about how we met at Sensation to our friends and those who asked. Last year, Mike and I travelled to Amsterdam (he's Dutch) where he proposed. Now, we are getting married on June 3rd, the same weekend we met at Sensation... 4 YEARS LATER! Sensation changed both our lives for the better and we just wanted to say thank you! We can't wait to attend Sensation The Final so we can relive that amazing moment when we met, in the city that I said "yes" to spending the rest of my life with my best friend.
From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank you for organizing such amazing events. My first Sensation was ‘Innerspace’ 2012 in St Petersburg, Russia. It’s truly remarkable to know that together under the same roof, there are people from all walks of life with no discrimination, connected through the power of music.
I am very honoured that I was a part of Sensation ‘Innerspace’, ‘Source of Light’, ‘Into The Wild’, ‘Wicked Wonderland’, and ‘Welcome to the Pleasuredome’. I will forever be a Sensation fan and would like to give a special thanks to Sander Vermeulen – Creative Director. I had an exclusive chance to meet him at Sensation Moscow. We had a wonderful time talking and drinking nice champagne.
I’m aware of the tragic beginnings of Sensation and the story behind the white dress code which motivates me to support Sensation and attend the event whenever I can. – R.I.P. Miles Stutterheim
Sensation is something for my mind, together with my body, and forever in my soul. Thank you, ID&T!
I wanted to write you a quick letter from the UK to say thanks for all the amazing memories over the years at Sensation. Back in 2000, from my little apartment in Glasgow, Scotland, I discovered Sensation on the internet and instantly knew I had to attend this party. So, in 2001, my then girlfriend (now wife), rounded up some friends and we booked the tickets. Back then it wasn't so easy, the website was in Dutch and we had no idea what we were doing, but we sent an email and ID&T helped us sort out our tickets. We travelled to Sensation Amsterdam and had the time of our lives! It truly blew my mind, the size and scale of the event, and the work you put in, not to mention the lineup with Marco V dropping “GODD” during the opening of this set, and Rank 1 – whoa, goosebumps just thinking about it.
In 2002, we were contacted by ID&T to come back to the event and this time to make a video about out trip for the DVD release. Again, my partner, my two friends, and I flew to Holland for an amazing weekend and recorded the entire journey for Sensation on a small camcorder, you gave us VIP passes and what a night we had!
Since then, we have returned to the event in 2005, 2006, 2008, 2012, and 2014. Knowing that this year would be the last Sensation in Amsterdam, my wife and I persuaded four of our friends to join us for one big final night in white.
Kind regards and all the best for the big night!
