The announcement of the Ocean Of White coming to Chile caused quite a stir and upped the expectations. We are now ready to up the excitement even further with the release of the line-up.

MEET THE HEADLINING DJ'S

Cesar Bass Romero
Cesar 'Bass' Romero will carry the Chilean flag on the third edition of Sensation in Chile. His career started back in 2002, when Bass Romero landed a residency at the Street Machine events. The big jump came when he became the number one DJ in Chile, defeating every single DJ in the THIRST contest, held by Heineken. What followed were several residencies in Cancun Mexico and Montreal-Canada. That last country is his current home base. Cesar 'Bass' Romero is however ready to come back to the country were it all began and rock the dance floor under The Ocean Of White.

Christian Smith
Swedish citizen, Christian Smith spent the late 80’s years in Germany soaking up the early house and techno sound of Sven Vath. Now based in Sao Paulo, he has been championing his funky mix of house and soulful techno for more than a decade, playing across Asia, North & South America, and Europe. His music is released on a variety of top labels like Renaissance, Adam Beyer's Drumcode, Josh Wink’s Ovum, 100% Pure, John Digweed's Bedrock, and his very own Tronic, only proves his flexibility in the studio. Similarly on the decks, Christian’s set is a cauldron of chunky grooves with loads of energy. Christian Smith will make his debut for Sensation in Chile.

Mastiksoul
There are many reasons many consider Mastiksoul to be the most successful Portuguese artist of the last few years. With more hits in 2009 than any other Portuguese artist, Mastiksoul has consolidated his position as one of the best in the world. His sets are filled with latin influences, yet drenched with the core of House. Add his energetic performance to the equation and you have a sure winner on your hands. His set will without a doubt be one of the many highlights for the Chilean crowd.

Fedde Le Grand
Multi music talent Fedde Le Grand undoubtedly is one of the leading DJ’s with his highly energetic DJ sets and extremely infectious productions. His big breakthrough came after the world wide success of his dance floor smash ‘ Put Your Hands Up’ and was quickly followed by highly praised productions such as ‘Let Me Thing About It’ and ‘3 Minutes To Explain’.  It should come as no surprise that Fedde Le Grand is a definite Sensation favorite, as he simply delivers the goods time after time. Get ready for that distinct Fedde Le Grand sound, as he is determined to make Chile shake to his beats.

Felix da Housecat
Two-time Grammy Award Nominee Felix Da Housecat brought electro to the masses with his groundbreaking album ‘Kittenz & Thee Glitz’, which included the UK top 40 pop chart crossover hit ‘Silver Screen (Shower Scene)’. From his collaborations with P. Diddy, James Murphy (LCD Soundsytem), and Miss Kittin, to his remixes for Madonna, Britney, Gwen Stefani, Marylin Manson, and Nina Simone, Felix continues to shape the sound of music today. Felix is one of the most energetic Djs in the world, and for sure he will be a Sensation highlight.

Roman Boer, aka Tocadisco, is a man of few words, but has proven his talent in many different ways. The Ocean Of White comes to São Paolo

Following the amazing success of the first edition, which welcomed 40.000 visitors, Sensation will return to Brazil on the 17th April and will turn the Pavilhão de Exposições do Anhembi in São Paulo into a mind blowing underwater world known as the Ocean of White. Tickets will go on sale the 28th January 2010.

São Paulo will dress up in white once again and will be taken to the depths of the Ocean Of White as the second Brazilian edition of Sensation lands in São Paulo on Saturday the 17th April 2010 at the Pavilhão de Exposições do Anhembi. Following the great success of 2009's edition, this interactive spectacle filled with mesmerizing performances, upfront electronic music, unrivalled laser show and blissful magic will return to Brazil to present the Ocean of White.

In this edition, the audience will submerge in a spectacle where water and the underwater universe are the central elements. For 6.5 hours under a 72,000 m2 roof - 20% bigger than last year - water fountains and breathtaking effects which will share the stage with gigantic jellyfishes, dancers, and state of the art beat controlled lights effects – all in an atmosphere filled with glamour and sophistication.

Tickets will go on sale the 28th of January and start at R$ 170,00.

Line Up Sensation Wicked Wonderland Belgium

Saturday 13 March 2010 Hasselt will be coloured completely white for the sixth Belgian edition of Sensation. After 4 sold-out editions in the Antwerp Sportpaleis, last year Sensation moved with roaring success to the Ethias Arena in Hasselt where the Ocean of White took place, with an 80-meter-long fountain show. The new world tour kicked off in July 2009 in Amsterdam, and the new Sensation show acquired the name “Wicked Wonderland”. It takes the visitors on an adventurous journey full of mysterious and sensual discoveries.

Sensational experience
Sensation by organizer ID&T has blossomed into a nightlife perception with an international ambience, where performances, music, acrobatics, dancing and fireworks occupy centre stage. Through a strictly observed white dress code, the public becomes part of an impressive setting too. Wicked Wonderland takes the visitors on an adventurous journey full of sensual discoveries.

For this edition the Ethias Arena has once again been utilised to the last centimetre. Over 18,000 visitors are expected to experience the spectacle, so prepare yourself for an unbelievable journey accompanied by the best beats courtesy of your favourite headliner.

Name & fame
ID&T caters for an impressive line-up starring numerous international DJ's who can charm the public with danceable beats and upfront music. During this edition Parisian night prince Martin Solveig, armed with his fashionable tunes, will certainly appeal to the female public. Up next is Swede Sebastian Ingrosso is part Swedish House Maffia, famous for hits such as 'Leave the world behind', is sure to get you rocking. With numerous memorable appearances at various editions of Sensation is a definite favourite. Furthermore, the visitors can expect Mr. White and Dutch maestro's Erick E and Sander van Doorn. Sander van Doorn, recently named as number 10 in the DJMag top 100 poll, seems to be on fire as he goes from strength to strength, set after set. Erick E also knows how to get the crowd fired up, something he is destined to do in Hasselt.

International flair
Five years ago Belgium was the very first country where Sensation took place beyond the Dutch border. In the meantime Sensation has blossomed into an international phenomenon. The Wicked Wonderland edition now takes place on 4 continents and in more than 17 cities including Madrid, Copenhagen, Lisbon, Prague, Sao Paulo, St Petersburg and Melbourne.

In Denmark, Sensation had the honour to be awarded with the Danish DJ Award 2008 for the Best Club Event and an Ibyen Award in the category Party or the Year 2008. Last years' show in Germany (the Ocean of White) was crowned with a Live Entertainment Award 2009 in the category “Best New Style Event”. Furthermore, Sensation has been nominated for an award in the category 'Best Music Event' at the Winter Music Conference in Miami that will take place on 26th March 2010. Sensation returns to the Czech Republic

We are returning to the Czech Republic for the fourth edition of Sensation in Prague. On Saturday 29th May 2010 17.500 spectators in the Prague O2 Arena will have the opportunity to experience another unforgettable night, which will welcome you to the world of Wicked Wonderland.

Sensation nominated in the end of year poll

As we go into the last weeks of 2009, the end of year polling begins! We are proud to announce that Sensation has been nominated at the European Festival Awards and the IDMA Awards.

European Festival Awards

Its the first time these awards are being awarded and basically is a way to celebrate the 2009 festival season. Sensation Germany has been shortlisted under the category ‘Medium Sized Festival’. Visit this link to head to the voting page directly.

IDMA Awards
